1. just a coffee
Upon awakening
It heals the dawn of all fears.
After a nightmare
That is almost real.
Between the sheets
I touch your lips with my finger.
Your open eyes surprise me.
I am helpless in the sea of light.
It is lukewarm and muted.
My heart is fresh coffee.
I, the clumsy waiter,
Move toward your knees.
“Good morning love,” says the coffee cup.
“Good morning love,” as your breasts whisper
From the cover.
I say your name, the eco-first part
Then swallow my breath.
A sudden wind arose:
Blankets, sheets, all things
That fell hurriedly,
And it frightened me,
Engrossed in the dream.
Everything falls into that flower.
My finger touched your lips,
And now I can finally live in the brightness of morning;
There’s dew on my finger, and
The certainty that I love you.
Still, the disorder of everyday life
Prevents its fullness.
I am proud of myself.
My love for you, for everything,
Is touching.
Yes, the coffee is ready:
“Good morning.”
Your smile makes me go crazy.
And as you move toward me,
It is like a dream.
2 – The sound barrier.
the wall of sound exists
none of us can see it, as it is in reality.
.
we are creators of solitudes.
.
we run too fast … to the great room
the wall is here, this shining glass.
the screen from which you engage our frustrations.
there is no drop of poetry behind, even inside,
If the heart doesn’t cry for bitterness or joys.
.
All jumps in the air, too high, where we cannot arrives.
at least not so, with writing.
Although time is lost, we must earn it.
moment to moment
.
Do not throw into fire, shirt
the wall of sound is apparently made of wax.
Let’s get our inability
Well as our loves
lost because of too much pride.
Come on, go to sleep, forget the agony.
The country of dreams and dense, buttery,
yet another day waiting for you,
ask for the duty and you
You can’t pay … with your verse.
Screams if you want,
Whisk vigorously head to the wall.
.
Your loneliness will be there, unmoving, intact.
3 – everything grows in the city
I seem to be walking on a wire
I have a plastic bag in his left hand in right another – come from the supermarket
I bought fresh illusions, validity one day
the streets are too high, not skyscrapers
asphalt sticks to the eyelids almost walk through your eyes
the machines grow, grey sand flowing around, assediandomi
I have to keep my mouth closed so as not to break my teeth
are all towards me, through the air we breathe
pretend to breathe through both nostrils. … becomes absurd!
everything grows in the city
also thickens the wire, sometimes
It is a railing where held, if you’re tired
I don’t reach, (but this does not mean that there is)
rainbow, traces left by airliners …
a banner ad tells me they are in the third Millennium
– I was expecting the supermarket more crowded
and not to live in car parks, as coaches, long ago …
that sweet Zhirkov has been deleted and I can’t seem to get used like that …)
where does this thread? Or I was tied down by him
as grandmother to tied sometime the dog in the countryside
.
everything grows in the city …
……………………………………………
Sì amore, è pronto il caffè, buon risveglio.
E come sorridi… mi fa impazzire.
Tutto salta in aria, troppo in alto,
………………………………………………………..
Dai, va’ a dormire, lascia perdere l’agonia,
Vengono tutte verso di me, attraverso l’aria respirata.

Complimenti! Per i testi e per la lingua. Quasi perfetta direi.

Buona sera Valeriu. Grazie delle tue visite.
Ho letto alcune tue poesie in lingua italiana.

figure retoriche e metafore sono spesso intraducibili …

The Poet, blood cooled with the Divine,
threw off the hair shirt of Christianity;
pursued the hot, romantic Renaissance,
Fell from passion into cold reason
and thence, Godless, into only self
and seated upon feelings,
looks out at the passing world…
As best he can.

Buona fortuna 🙂
Hello, I speak english, and I loved the coffee poem. I used Google Translate to better translate the poem into english, and it is astonishing. ravishing. I also used Google Translate to say this so if I’m saying anything crazy, it’s not my fault. I also wanted to say thanks for the beautiful poetry here, and for liking my blog. Good luck 🙂

Valeriu,
The American Sci-fi Writer David Weber writes the Honor Harrington series of books. (They are loosely inspired by the Horatio Hornblower series.) In it he describes an amazing character (Victor Cachet) like this:
Lei Varai Barbu. „The True Bearded One”. The one you went with when the family’s life or honour was at stake. The one who might die in the doing, since fortune is a fickle thing. But would neither flinch, nor hesitate, nor cry in pain or fear. Not ever. And who, even if he failed, would strike such terror in the family’s enemies that they would never forget the penalty to be paid.
I thought this was the perfect description of a truly heroic character, it summed up my favourite Opie in Son of Anarchy and your name immediately reminded me of it.
So, there you are …
have a day
P
ApreciazăApreciază
thank you … Fortunately, I was born in the original version …

I read a little science fiction, my favorite is Frank Herbert
ApreciazăApreciază
The Dune series is, perhaps, one of the finest works of science fiction ever written. The spice must flow.
Weber writes a great Space-opera and wonderful bold characters.
Erik Flint’s Mother of Demons makes me cry every time I read it and is a wonderful adventure tale to boot.
I think, when it’s done right, science fiction changes the world.
Anyway, the instant association with your name and two incredible characters made me smile.
🙂
ApreciazăApreciază
it is so
Asimov is number one … Herbert is the second …
seems utopian at times, the SF world, or in a large part it copy of the world by here, with the vices is the evil and all
ApreciazăApreciază
I haven’t read Asimov for decades. But I loved the Foundation series. Herbert, for me, created an astonishing world. The Bene Gesserit, the Spice Melange and the god emperor who altered the flow of time for thousands of years. Amazing.
And yes, science fiction is a reflection of the present, and it’s almost always optimistic, believing that we have a future and we can be better, colour blind, sexually mature, all of those things.
But it being optimistic about our future it also challenges us to BE better people, either to achieve the future it promises or avoid it.
The best Sci-Fi is exciting adventure, but it is also a way of talking about who we really are through a prism that makes that honest examination possible.
ApreciazăApreciază
this your point of view – bold and realistic,
worth to be put in a great article that promotes SF
thanks
ApreciazăApreciază
I will have to write the blog! Watch this space.
🙂
Have a day

1. coffee
„Good morning love,” says the coffee cup.
„Good morning love,” as your breasts whisper
From the cover.
I say your name, the eco-first part
Then swallow my breath.
A sudden wind arose:
Blankets, sheets, all things
That fell hurriedly,
And it frightened me,
Engrossed in the dream.
Everything falls into that flower.
My finger touched your lips,
And now I can finally live in the brightness of morning;
There’s dew on my finger, and
The certainty that I love you.
Still, the disorder of everyday life
Prevents its fullness.
I am proud of myself.
My love for you, for everything,
Is touching.
Yes, the coffee is ready:
„Good morning.”
Your smile makes me go crazy.
And as you move toward me,
It is like a dream.
ApreciazăApreciază
wow… thank so so much…

Thank you sir for allowing me to imagine this poem coupled with your poem about not finding a job and wanting to eat your fingers. I hope you are getting enough to eat. But, this abject poverty amid the gift of love and someone beautiful, I assume, is promising despite the hopelessness of life as the rich-poor widens and we all seem to fall in. I often feel unworthy of such beauty and love while I deal with my own economic concerns.

It is just so beautiful. The images it conjures leave me breathless. And thank you for the translation. 😊

A beautiful scattering of thoughts, like seeds that will grow into flowers. What’s the right word for that? Bellissimo?

My goodness, I had to give up coffee, it is just too strong for my constitution these days! 😉 Brilliantly written. Very good English – it has me wondering, was it written in English, or translated into English?
I enjoyed my visit, and I leave you with a little gift, in appreciation.
