Melancholy / Malinconia / Melancolie

Trilingual text: English, Italian and Romanian language

Between hopes and illusions we do often confusion
Despotic, the shoes, us runs quickly there where they want
and anywhere they would go, is an impetuous astray
the ,,Nowhere,, is becoming an ,,at home,, the desert more intimate
we want to know what face we will have today, but
only the tears wash the mirrors, not the smile, and the muffled weeping refuses us
we must deserve, somehow, even your own tear

    • I have gone through health woes and found healing in the love of my loved ones that I have been very close, treatment is always there in of ourselves, care of the soul heals the body, but you already know
      thanks

  2. ‘…only the tears wash the mirrors, not the smile…’ – beautifully expressed, profound and so true, Valeriu. There is, I think, great pressure upon us to present the smile, the cheer; but, sometimes, the open wound, the track of tears, is a far more honest statement to the Wasteland. Ali x
